Legatus Exercitus

Legatus Exercitus is the [Army's](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RxnX5JOZ7Q-uee-army) representative in the [High Command](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RegxqX26ok-high-command) and is the highest possible rank for an officer of the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) (UEE) Army to obtain. Their responsibilities are to set Army policy, directly interpret the orders of the [Imperator](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gz5BoJ9wl-uee-imperator), and brief the [Senate](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VaZn8OqaNZ-senate) and Imperator in military matters.
