Centauri I

Centauri I is a protoplanet in the [Centauri system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Qllvmr5v5-centauri-system), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) that orbits very close to its sun. Surveyor Kelly Alden captured an image of Centauri I in 2639 through her ship's camera, capturing the protoplanet in the path of a blue-white prominence that seems to reach out and grasp it. A copy of the photograph hangs in the Centauri Museum of Fine Art.
