Cano Belt Alpha

The Cano belt alpha is an asteroid belt that orbits the sun in the [Cano system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/Rxn9DYKdnd-cano-system) between [Cano III](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RL6KBQ9Kzj-cano-iii) and [Pox (Cano IV)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RWoy1A9eWm-pox-cano-iv), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth). While it was mined extensively in the past, activity has slowed since the [Fair Chance Act](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RXlXmnaYGP-fair-chance-act) was applied to [Carteyna (Cano II)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RX34BrgYND-carteyna-cano-ii) in the late 2800s.
