Caliban Belt Alpha

The Caliban belt alpha is an asteroid belt in the [Caliban system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0jGyPQ1r5m-caliban-system), located in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory). When the Caliban system was possessed by the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)(UEE), the belt was a hub for miners, haulers, and salvagers, and was dotted with rest stops in service of travelers. When the [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) seized control of the system [in SEY 2884](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gz5DNryvE-fall-of-caliban), evacuees abandoned all equipment and space stations. It is believed that the resources left behind have been harvested by the Vanduul.
