Rytif is an inhabited planet in the [Bremen system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/02kd45eyxe-bremen-system), [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth). The second planet from the sun, it was slowly [terraformed](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) for [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) habitation after the system was discovered in 2441. Rytif was a major center of food production during the [Second Tevarin War (2603 - 2610)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bE3rPrz3Pv-second-tevarin-war), and was used as a headquarters for anti-Messer activists in the years leading up to the [2792 revolution](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bE3rKa32P7-anti-messer-revolution).
