Ellis VII

Ellis VII is a terrestrial smog planet orbited by two narrow rings of rock and ice in the [Ellis system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RxnBEBWBjQ-ellis-system), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth). Although it is located beyond the system's [green band](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJaAjgOwy-green-band), the surface of Ellis VII is hot, caused by its dense, dark, and high-pressure atmosphere. Spacecraft entering local orbit are advised to stay in the exosphere in order to avoid corrosion.
