Vosca (Elysium III)

Vosca is the third planet from the sun of the [Elysium system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RvlQrKZxPO-elysium-system), [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth), and is home to a small population of [Humans](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) and [Tevarin](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJv3nB3X-tevarin). Largely covered with an arid desert, water is scarce on the surface of Vosca, except near the north and south poles. To cope with persistent drought conditions, water farms are common. Some mobile operations travel across the landscape just ahead of the solar terminator, staying on the planet's cooler nighttime side to increase their output. Many settlements, such as the arcology [Reza's Landing](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/Vgg7jB2YE9-rezas-landing), are constructed under protective domes due to persistent, violent sandstorms.
