Cole (Nul III) is the third planet from the sun of the unclaimed [Nul system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VgEnlpqyJ9-nul-system). Located on the inner edge of the system's [green band](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJaAjgOwy-green-band), it has a relatively temperate climate that has made it a potential target for [terraforming](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) companies. However, its thick atmosphere of ammonia and sulfur has resisted all terraforming attempts, and the planet remains uninhabitable. It is nevertheless occupied by a busy, unregulated market that operates out of an old [surveying facility](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RvgpG6aLQv-char/) abandoned by [Behesht Mines](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpMez1B2qM-behesht-mines) in 2614.
