Once home to several military outposts during the [Xi'an-Human Cold War](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RXlLjDewkZ-xian-human-cold-war) (SEY 2530 - 2793), Yām'ping is now orbited by stations dedicated to entertainment, such as gambling halls, bars, hotels, and other services.
