Ping'leth (R.il'a III)

Ping'leth (R.il'a III) is the third planet from the sun of the [R.il'a system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/Rw1xWXME1B-rila-system), [Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire). Orbiting just outside of the inner boundary of the green band, it was not terraformed when the Xi'an government initially developed two other planets in the system. The jagged mountains that dominate the planet's rocky surface were the subject of a series of abstract sculptures constructed by the famed artist [Tamsa Wheel](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RXlXOw9WaN-tamsa-wheel) in SEY 2951.
