Tiber System

The Tiber system is a planetary system in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory), and was formerly a part of the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)(UEE). Discovered in SEY 2474 during [Project Far Star](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0qnNAD6YKa-project-far-star), it was a sparsely populated mining system until 2681, when the [destruction](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RWwZDmxaXP-vanduul-human-first-contact) of [Dell Township](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RkZ9mGOpD4-dell-township) in the neighboring system of [Orion](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VlMpwMky6d-orion-system) sparked a period of rapid military buildup. In 2732, the [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) launched a mass invasion on Tiber. A years-long [siege](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0OaBY5pGrq-siege-of-tiber) followed that lasted until 2736 when UEE forces abandoned the system. It is now home to vast encampments of Vanduul.
