Krēl System

The Krēl system is a planetary system that reportedly consists of one star of unknown type and nine planets. Located along the border of the [Xi'an Empire (SaoXy'an)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0n96JkwNo9-xian-empire), it is the home system of the [Kr'thak](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RxNxDYkqzz-krthak) and is thought to be the center of their civilization. Because the Kr'thak have yet to establish first contact with the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) (UEE), it has yet to be visited by [Humans](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) or [Tevarin](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJv3nB3X-tevarin) and there is little information available on its history or composition. There is no evidence that it has been visited by the [Banu](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0NwpYPpNZ4-banu), although it is possible that they did so before [Xi'an](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJwN9KJEj-xian) and UEE historians began documenting their history. Any existing data on the Krēl system is kept classified by the Xi'an government, and has not been released despite repeated diplomatic requests.
