Erna (Virgil 3a)

Erna (Virgil 3a) is the first moon from [Virgil III](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8WagLl2Nx-virgil-iii), [Virgil system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RvlBgYrvEY-virgil-system), located in [Vanduul territory](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDAMLKP74-vanduul-territory). Partially coated in water ice, the parts of its surface that are uncovered are rife with deep craters and long, steep, and deep chasmata. Some of its cliffs reveal dark layers alternating with lighter layers, suggesting that in the past Erna was geologically active.
