Nova

The Nova is a main battle tank developed by [Tumbril Land Systems](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VarkpZnxjd-tumbril-land-systems). Built around a large, turreted ballistic cannon, the Nova is used by the [United Empire of Earth (UEE)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) [Army](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RxnX5JOZ7Q-uee-army) and [Marine](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V7d5ZYEr1a-uee-marines) armored units. Early models of the tank were used during the [Second Tevarin War](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bE3rPrz3Pv-second-tevarin-war) and distinguished themselves at the [Battle of Koren Pass](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/01dWmOD45G-battle-of-koren-pass), where they held off a numerically superior [Tevarin](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V8gJv3nB3X-tevarin) strike force in SEY 2605. Tumbril also makes the Nova available for civilian use.
