Centralist Party

The Centralist party is a [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) political party; one of the three largest political parties in the [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth) (UEE). Members of the Centralist party typically favor government regulation and spending, lower taxes, and increased privacy laws, and vote against military spending. They also take a hard-line stance against moving the capital of the UEE away from Earth. The most recent Centralist [Imperator](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gz5BoJ9wl-uee-imperator) of the UEE was Mikkel Sheriden, who served from 2931 to 2941.
