Sabre Comet

The Sabre Comet is a medium fighter manufactured by [Aegis Dynamics](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RAdk7jx5Kv-aegis-dynamics). A variant of the [Sabre](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0NwpeQOqY4-sabre) space superiority fighter, it was created as part of the "Masters of Flight" series in conjunction with the flight sim game [Arena Commander](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvY5LQXd6-arena-commander). It pays tribute to famed pilot Captain Kamur Dailon for his work with Aegis to create the original Comet fighter upon his retirement from the [UEE Navy](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDvKOpdP4-uee-navy) after the [Battle of Idris IV](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/ReJajXKelk-battle-of-idris-iv). Like the original Comet, this Sabre variant comes with a weapons loadout that emphasizes dogfighting.
