INS Aniene

INS Aniene was a [United Empire of Earth](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VyvyKxy4v6-united-empire-of-earth)[Navy (UEEN)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RPDvKOpdP4-uee-navy) installation in the [Tiber system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RMNLm97EDj-tiber-system). It was originally established as one of two fleet support bases in the system with large-scale drydock and collier facilities capable of outfitting multiple capital ships simultaneously. During the [Siege of Tiber (SEY 2732 - 2736)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0OaBY5pGrq-siege-of-tiber), Aniene became a major command and control point for the 31st Battle Group during its initial defense of the system. On 29 December 2736, the base was completely destroyed by a massed [Vanduul](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/VpGPp92gdO-vanduul) attack.
