Adaliz Dayan

Adaliz Dayan (2279 - 2317?) was a [Human](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Nwpnr6wa2-humans) [terraforming](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/V3qgj8vjnj-terraforming) engineer who is credited with the discovery of the [Banshee system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gx4BENmKg-banshee-system). While working for the group terraforming [Hyperion (Fora III)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/RegWGPlxqy-hyperion-fora-iii) in the [Fora system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/bo1PDEgGv2-fora-system), she formed the Immram Association, an organization devoted to exploring the region between terraforming tasks. Dayan disappeared under unusual circumstances while investigating a pocket of radiation. During the search for her ship, it was discovered that the pocket of radiation marked a jump point to the [Banshee system](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/galactapedia/article/0Gx4BENmKg-banshee-system). While it is believed she likely jumped there, she has never been located. The system was named Banshee in her honor, inspired by the nickname she earned playing college sataball.
